What months are considered part of the spring season in the US

When do seasons start ? First of all lets define what a season is. According to Merriam webmaster dictionary a  season is a time characterized for by a particular  circumstance or feature.

Again Astrologist and meteorologist define  seasons differently. Put simply to astrologist  a seasons starts is based on the position of the earth in relation to the sun. Whiles Meteorologist the start of a season is based on  temperature and the 12 months in the calendar of the year.

Seasons  start on the first of the month and normally start on the first of the month and last for three months. So spring starts in march and ends in June.  In spring day and night are approximately 12 hours long.

Another thing to remember is that in the northern Hemisphere the march equinox begins when the crosses the equator line and this marks the start of spring in march which ends in June because the United states is in the northern hemisphere. Therefore the months that are considered part of the spring season in the US is March to June.
